Two nights after winning a conference title for the first time in 22 years, the Sullivan boys tennis team had another milestone night on the courts Wednesday.
The Arrows defeated South Knox, 5-0, for their 15th win of the season. The win marks a new school record in single season.
Levi Chickadaunce and Houston Ferree picked up wins on the singles courts for the first two points of the match. And just like they did on Monday, Jayden Scott and Carter Micschler followed with the match-clinching point at No. 1 doubles.
The 15 team wins broke a tie with last season’s record of 14 wins and the 2001 team as well.
Drew Baker also picked up a win at No. 2 singles on Wednesday while Sam Couch and Spencer Hanks completed the shutout with a win on the No. 2 doubles court.
Wednesday’s win followed a close 3-2 loss to North Daviess on Tuesday.
Sullivan (14-5) returns to the court Friday at Bloomfield in what could be a possible sectional championship preview matchup.
